The project variants feature is a component of TPG ProjectPowerPack (PPP) with TPG Scheduler. With project variants, you can simulate different scenarios of a project. This allows you to account for changes or issues that have occurred or may occur during the project's runtime.

A variant is a copy of a project that can be edited without altering the original project. Variants can be compared with the original project and other variants in the schedule, resource plan, and financial plan. A new variant is created with a copy of the following tables:
