➤  If you assign a resource to a project and then update the project, the assignment will be deleted.
Updating the resource will not affect the assignment.

▪To assign a resource to a project, open the Matrix view and select the appropriate checkbox.
The background of the checkmark will turn red when time-phased data are entered for the assignment.
