A new validation option has been added to Timesheets to help enforce daily working hour limits. Administrators can now configure a maximum number of working hours per day in the Timesheet settings.

An additional Prevent exceeding limit across submitted/approved entries option allows the daily limit to be considered across existing submitted and approved timesheet entries.

When users submit timesheet entries, the system validates the total number of hours recorded for each day. If the configured daily limit is exceeded, the selected entries cannot be submitted.

In this case, a message is displayed explaining why the submission was blocked, allowing users to review and correct their entries before trying again.
