Resource availability insights are now available directly in the Scheduler heatmap. By hovering over a resource or assignment, project managers can instantly see availability, allocated effort, and workload from other projects, helping them make better staffing and scheduling decisions.

▪Tooltip values use localized labels and consistent formatting, including support for hours and percentage-based availability displays.

Performance and usability

▪Tooltip information updates automatically when project data changes.

▪Workload information from other projects is cached during the session for fast response times.

▪The current project is excluded from cross-project workload calculations to provide accurate availability information.

▪If external workload information cannot be retrieved, availability data is still displayed to ensure uninterrupted use.

This enhancement brings Advanced Grid resource availability insights into the Scheduler, enabling project and resource managers to identify overallocations, understand true resource capacity, and make more informed scheduling decisions without leaving the Resource Utilization view.
